Laramar to begin using UtilitiesPLUS
Chicago, IL, September 28, 2005: OCIUS announced
today they have signed a contract with The Laramar Group to begin using the new OCIUS UtilitiesPLUS Convergent Management product. OCIUS currently provides Convergent Billing and transaction
processing to The Laramar Group properties
nationwide. Laramar has been in the apartment management business for over 15 years and have managed in almost every major market nationwide.
They currently manage a national portfolio of approximately 20,000 units ranging from "Class A"
to "Class C" level assets including garden,
mid-rise and high-rise communities.
“Initial rollout of UtilitiesPLUS began several months
ago, and the feedback has been very positive. We are looking forward to having our entire portfolio on the program in the near future” said Dave Woodward,

We have added a new feature to our website. In the monthly summary screen, where you go to check the utility pre-bill report, there will now
be a link next to 'View Detail', named 'View Difference'. This link will show a report that compares the current month's utility charges with
the previous month's utlility charges. This report can be used for leak detection and can also be used for auditing billing variances.
